Albion Ventures wins second award in two months

Albion Ventures, one of the UK’s leading venture capital investors, is pleased to announce they have been awarded VCT Manager of the Year at the “Unquote” British Private Equity Awards 2009. “Unquote” is the leading private equity magazine and its awards are seen as the ‘Oscars’ of the industry.

The “Unquote” judges said of Albion Ventures: “Much of the work Albion has done has been built around genuine added value and genuine business knowledge.”

Albion have won this award in the wake of being awarded the VCT of the Year at the Investor AllStar Awards in September 2009 for their Development VCT. The AllStar Awards judges cited the following:
“With 13 new investments, and one great exit with Grosvenor Health, the new Albion team clearly impressed the judges.”
