Albion Ventures on the road with RAM Capital as RAM seek to
educate intermediaries on VCTs and EIS

Albion Ventures and 6 other VCT and EIS providers will be represented at RAM Capital’s national educational roadshows addressing the impact of regulations and new rules, limits for investors, investment options and different strategies for income tax, CGT and IHT. The roadshows will also showcase what RAM’S best of breed clients have to offer the intermediary market and their clients and will commence on 15 November in Belfast and run until 8 December 2011.

Matthew Brown, Partner, RAM Capital Partners, said:
“There have been a number of rule changes this year and last to VCTs and EISs and there is the also the ongoing Treasury consultation to consider. This makes for an interesting market where advisers are interested in learning what is happening and why in order to better explain this to their clients. We will examine the role each product can play in the advisers toolbag and how to apply this to different client needs. With some advisers’ clients uncertain of whether they can or indeed wish to make further pension contributions, more and more IFAs are looking at income paying VCTs to supplement income pre and post-retirement.

RAM Capital provides financial advisers with tax efficient specialist products that they can use to diversify private client portfolios. A member of the RAM team will be highlighting key points from their best of breed clients’ product offerings. Joining Albion Ventures from the VCT sector is Amati, Baronsmead and Edge and from the EIS sector, City Pub Company, Edge, Goldfield Partners and Prime London.
