Managing Partner Patrick has become synonymous with VCTs due to his 14 year track record in the industry. Patrick qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells before joining Cazenove & Co where he spent three years in the corporate finance department. He joined Close Brothers Group in 1989, initially in the development capital subsidiary, where he was a director specialising in the financing of smaller unquoted companies. He joined the corporate finance division in 1991, where he was also a director. He established Close Ventures' activities with the launch of Close Brothers Venture Capital Trust PLC in the spring of 1996. Patrick became managing partner of Albion Ventures in 2009.
