Michael Kaplan PARTNER

Prior to joining Close Ventures, Michael was a Project Leader with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he focused on the retail and financial services sectors. More recently, Michael was a part of BCG’s growing Private Equity practice – which provides strategic due diligence to some of the worlds biggest PE funds. Prior to his time with BCG, Michael was the Chief Financial Officer for Widevine Technologies, a security software company based out of Seattle. Michael has a BA from the University of Washington and an MBA from INSEAD.
