Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC is a venture capital trust which raised a total of £39.7 million through an issue of Ordinary Shares in the spring of 1996 and through an issue of "C" Shares in the following year. The company raised a further £1.67 million in early 2011 under the Albion VCTs Linked Top Up offer. The C Shares merged with the Ordinary Shares in 2011. The Company offers tax-paying investors substantial tax benefits at the time of investment, on payment of dividends and on the ultimate disposal of the investment. Its investment strategy is to minimise the risk to investors whilst maintaining an attractive yield.
