Premier VCT (Dartford) Limited developed and operated the Express by Holiday Inn hotel in Dartford, originally as an 83 bedroom hotel, which opened in 1998, before extending it to 126 bedrooms. Funds managed by Albion Ventures invested a total of £4 million, the original investment being made in 1997. The company was sold in 2000 realising a profit for funds managed by Albion Ventures of £1.7 million, in addition to which the funds had received an income yield of approximately 10 per cent. per annum.
